A year ago, I hatched a plan to get away from London, the City job and off the hamster wheel of life, at least for a while. All things considered, my timing could not have been better.

It's Easter Sunday.
I am missing my family and friends, and returning to London is troubling me, but I have so far had the best four months of my life and am the happiest I have ever been.
The experiences, thoughts and pics of a guy who decided to get some perspective in Namibia, S Africa, Argentina, Antarctica, Brazil, Myanmar, Bhutan and the Philippines.
